I was talking to Jesus the other day; He said to me, “I love you.” I said to Him, “I love you more.” He rolled his eyes and started to rap, “Don’t be a boor. You don’t love me more— Here I am, knocking at the door, and you won’t let me in - is it such a chore? And you know what’s more? You’re not dead, but I’ve died, and what for? Now all this pain For so little gain You must think it’s a game But it’s not It’s time to hop on a new train, To sing a new refrain, To feed the hungry, give to the poor, Give your bed to the homeless and sleep on the floor— I’ve said it once, I’ve said it before, But now I’ll say it thus : I love you - MORE.”
